About myself
I received my Master's degree on Computer Science Engineering from the Barcelona Faculty of Informatics (FIB) at the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC).
After that, I joined the Database Architectures and Information Access group at the Center for Mathematics and Computer Science (CWI) in Amsterdam, where I completed my PhD on the use of structural features for effective content-oriented XML Retrieval (PhD thesis).
Currently, I am a member of the Web Research Group at the Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
